Does using an event app create extra work for the event organiser?

Quite the opposite! Using an event app makes the event organiser’s work more efficient by bringing all participant information and communication together in one place. In addition, with Eventos, you can use the same event data on both the event website and in the app, allowing information to be managed centrally and kept up to date across both platforms.

Do people find event apps difficult to use?

Not in our experience. The event app is easy to use—just like a website—simply by clicking a link. The app can also be added to a phone’s home screen (as a PWA), making it easy to find and access. We continuously collect user feedback and consistently receive positive comments about the ease of use of our app.

So, what can you actually find in the app?

The app can be customised to meet the specific needs of your event, but the most commonly used features include:

• Tickets and arrival information
• Programme and exhibition information, including personal favourites and maps
• Information about other participants and networking opportunities
• A wide range of engagement features, such as chat, polls, and word clouds
• Push notifications and updates
  

We do not organise events that require an app!

An event app is suitable not only for large events, but also for very small events and is an excellent fit for meetings. The app can contain just the participant’s badge or ticket and the programme—nothing more is often needed. For meetings, the Eventos App has proven to be an excellent platform for all meeting materials and voting. Voting at official association and annual general meetings can also be carried out in the Eventos App, taking proxies and weighted voting into account.
