Eventos API services
Eventos offers versatile options for data transfer between information systems, websites, and Eventos. Automated data transfer between systems and the use of automation significantly improve efficiency and save event organizers’ time. This page provides examples of available data transfer options.
Integration between Eventos and the event calendar
Eventos users can utilize Eventos’ own event calendar and easily embed it into their website using an embed code.
Eventos can also be integrated with a client’s own event calendar, which is often a calendar view created within a website content management system (CMS). Data transfer between Eventos and the client’s own event calendar can be implemented by activating webhook connections between Eventos and the publishing system, or by calling Eventos’ API from the publishing system.
Integration between Eventos and accounting systems
Eventos supports the implementation of paid events and provides ready-made integrations for real-time payment services Paytrail and Stripe. In paid events, there is often also a need to offer the option to purchase admission tickets, exhibition products, or other services via invoicing.
An invoice can be sent automatically by email immediately after the form submission is saved, or transferred via an invoicing interface for processing in an invoicing and/or financial management system. Invoice data can also be transferred in Finvoice 3 format as an XML file to the invoicing system.
Automating invoicing improves efficiency and reduces the time spent on billing, and is especially recommended for organizers who frequently run paid events.
Integration between Eventos and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
Eventos can be used for individual event implementations, where invitation and other participant data is imported manually via transfer files or copied from a previously organized event in Eventos. After the event, the data can also be “exported back” to the original system.
By integrating your CRM system with event management via an interface, you save time. Creating target groups becomes easier, and communication is handled automatically, which improves the customer experience.
Eventos also offers the option to use a client’s other marketing or form service if it is justified for overall process management. In such cases, Eventos complements the client’s event process by handling event communication and interaction in a defined way through automated or manual actions carried out in Eventos.
Integration between Eventos and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Event operations can also be centralized in an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. For example, sales and orders for a trade fair event can be managed in an ERP solution, but it is often more efficient to use Eventos for post-sales communication and order management. The solution provides more comprehensive tools for event operations and delivers cost savings, as ERP licenses are not required for all exhibitors attending the event.
In this case, data exchanged between ERP and Eventos often relates to exhibitors and orders. The integration is typically implemented as a customized solution, but after multiple similar implementations, we can provide best practices and solutions, as well as easily adaptable interface solutions for new projects.
