Digital tools streamline the Yhdyskuntatekniikka exhibition
The Eventos App was widely used at the YT25 exhibition.
The Yhdyskuntatekniikka exhibition is Finland’s largest infrastructure industry exhibition and seminar event, and it was held for the 22nd time this year. The two-day event attracted over 5,000 visitors and nearly 300 exhibitors.
“Managing registrations, exhibition sales, and program information for different seminars without proper tools would be extremely laborious. That is why we have been using Prospectum’s Eventos service since 2019,” says exhibition manager Anna-Maija Hallikas .
Eventos App took off
Hallikas says that this year’s event aimed to make full use of the Eventos App Using the app reduces inquiries to the organizers and also increases participant satisfaction, as all information and instructions are easily accessible in one place.
“We sent links to the event app by email several times in advance. In addition, a QR code for downloading the app was prominently displayed in the venue lobby, making it easy to get started. Repeated communication clearly led to higher app usage, and content was downloaded many times more compared to previous events.”
Self-service exhibition booking
Exhibition sales and booth reservations were managed using the Eventos Exhibitorservice. Exhibitors can update their information themselves in the Eventos Exhibitor portal, which saves organizers time and helps keep information more up to date.
“When exhibition sales are handled through an electronic form with an interactive booking map, there is no need for unnecessary intermediaries, and the process runs smoothly for everyone,” Hallikas says.
Collaboration helps both parties develop their operations
“The Yhdyskuntatekniikka exhibition develops its operations each time and finds ways to make broader use of Eventos’ capabilities. The collaboration is highly fruitful and also helps us improve our service and processes further,” says Pekka Neuvonen from Prospectum.
